William the Conqueror

ConquerorWilliam the Conqueror was the first Norman king to rule in England. He reigned from 1066 AD to 1087 AD, which was the time of his death. Being the ruler of a conquered people he made many social changes to England. He declared all land in England to belong to himself. The land that he had now newly acquired he delegated to many Norman noblemen. Basically what he was trying to do was to say to them, “lend me your complete allegiance and I shall give you this beautiful English land.” He also kept a large portion of this land for himself as well. He did allow those whose land he took, to buy it back from him, if they could prove to him that they were not opposed to his takeover of England. William also worked heavily on something called the Domesday Book. This book helped William organize all of the provinces of England. It would list how many serfs there were on some land and much money they made. The main purpose however was to help him raise taxes.

The public handicapper usually gives odds and predictions to
get a race track or maybe a local newspaper or maybe among the data or
program services. When you add your method it really is good to
maintain two separate running charts or notebooks or files in your
computer. You will most likely look for a group of numbers that represent a selected contest plus the corresponding rank
from the animal during that time.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you’ve hit
the nail on the head. The problem is something too few people are speaking intelligently about.
I am very happy that I came across this during my hunt for something relating to this.
